About the club

Abbots Youth Football Club is an FA Charter Standard Club which welcomes players of all abilities.

We offer a safe and fun environment in which players can enjoy their football and improve their skills - providing high quality facilities and coaching.

Abbots Youth Football Club has been running over the past fifty years, in the heart of Abbots Langley village. We are committed to meeting the sporting needs of the children of Abbots Langley and as such we achieved recognition of Charter Status by the Football Association in 2002, one of the first clubs to be recognised in the UK. Our base is now firmly established at Manor House Gardens in alliance with the Abbots Youth Cricket Club. The teams originally came from the children who went to the Abbots Langley School and are predominately from the village although due to the growth and strength of the club we now attract players and managers from a 10 mile radius of Abbots Langley, although we have some players as far away as South Africa, Australia and America.(they do not normally make every training session!!!)

We currently have teams playing competitive/friendly football every week from ages Under 7 through to Under 18, as well as a veterans section made up by some manager's. We compete in the West Herts League, as well as playing in the Herts County Cup which takes our teams all over Hertfordshire.

With the assistance of 61 ovolunteer coaches and helpers, the organisation supports over 240 boys and girls to play the game they love, and has grown over the past twelve years.
